My visit to the Sketchbook Library in Brooklyn

Since a long time ago I wanted to go to the Sketchbook Library because I found their website maybe 3 years ago, in that time I don’t recall them having a library but the idea of a sketchbook project attracted my attention. This is their website https://www.sketchbookproject.com/ on this site you can find all the information about it. Something cool that I didn’t know is that you can participate sending you own sketchbook and for a fee, they’ll preserve it in the library.

En bicicleta por las calles de Nueva York / Riding my bike around New York City

Últimamente he tenido más ganas de escribir en mi blog, pero siempre me gana la flojera o la indesición, de no saber que escribir, de sonar estupida o de decir cosas que no interesan a nadie. Pero he tenido que luchar contra esos también estúpidos pensamientos y aquí ando dejando ideas por aqui y por allá de lo que encuentro en mi camino y me gusta.
Ayer estaba en mi bicicleta andando por las calles de Nueva York y decidí tomar este video. ¿Qué opinas? Se me hizo super artístico.

¿Por qué debes de conocer la revista i-D? / Why do you have to know i-D Magazine?

En 3 videos puedes tener una idea de los temas de los que habla. Es una revista de gran importancia para la Industria de la Moda por su punto de vista tan diferente y único.

1. Este video se inspiró en el libro “10 maneras de ser Parisina”, leí el libro, luego les paso mi reseña ;). Para no hacerla larga me gustó más el concepto de este video que el del libro.

2. Definitiva Guia de Etiqueta para una Dama de nuestra era. Puedo decir con toda seguridad que soy una ;D

3. Por que adoro a Cloë Sevigny y por que vivo en New York.

My first New York Fashion Week F/W 2015 (Mi primer New York Fashion Week)

This is one of the entrance in a show, I love this picture. Maybe my first one.

I don’t know where I should start.

It’s a huge step for me: from Xochimilco (that’s the place where I am from in Mexico City) or from an Engineering career to one of my biggest dreams the New York Fashion Week.

I looked for that opportunity for months and after some ups and downs I found a volunteering position. I collaborated like dresser, this means that I was behind the scenes taking care of the collection of each designer and dressing the models that were in the runway.
