Happy New Year πŸŽ† 2022

This is the second year we celebrate New Year in New York City and I was very exited because it could be as I had it in my mind: NO cooking to try to impress people or cleaning around or figuring out plans to get together. I wanted the easiest celebration that I could make and I had to try something new because last year we already made pizzaπŸ•. So after sharing this with my husband he agreed to take it super easy too and just make our purchases for our dinner on the 31st NO PRESSURE. We decided to go for turkey (4 thighs for easy cooking), pre-made stuffing, cranberry sauce from a can, spaghetti with sour cream and ham and a pie a la mode.

Paola here πŸ˜‡ I was this close πŸ‘Œ to not post today but here I’m writing πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. 

This has been a busy week so I have been re-planning and rethinking about my posting schedule for this blog and YouTube. It has been confusing because editing YouTube videos and blog post takes a while and I have been pressuring myself to post constantly in both platforms. 

When I planned my schedule at the beginning of this journey I thought I would just post fast stuff here and there in both platforms but during these months it has changed. I discovered that I love dedicating time to these projects so it wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought.

  2. Atomic City ComicsΒ (Comic store)
  3. Omoi Zakka ShopΒ (Stationery boutique and pen shop like Goods for the Study here in NYC)
  4. Kitchen Kapers (kitchen and food supplies)

Two weekends ago my husband and I went to for a classic Saturday walk, we started eating in a restaurant called Raclette, where we ate a delicious burger with lots of cheese 🀀
