My first New York Fashion Week F/W 2015 (Mi primer New York Fashion Week)

 

This is one of the entrance in a show, I love this picture. Maybe my first one.
 
I don’t know where I should start.
It’s a huge step for me: from Xochimilco (that’s the place where I am from in Mexico City) or from an Engineering career to one of my biggest dreams the New York Fashion Week.

I looked for that opportunity for months and after some ups and downs I found a volunteering position. I collaborated like dresser, this means that I was behind the scenes taking care of the collection of each designer and dressing the models that were in the runway.

Atrapada entre el Inglés y Español (Trapped between English and Spanish)

Desde hace unas semanas vengo pensando en qué idioma debería escribir, y no encontraba la respuesta, lo intenté por un tiempo en Inglés y por otro en Español, pero no me siento libre escribiendo en Inglés y esto no solo tiene que ver con mi vocabulario nada comparable en Español (mi lengua natal) sino con que las ideas y los sentimiento fluyen más en Español. Además me encantaría compartir todos mis conocimientos y las cosas que aprendo viviendo aquí en Estados Unidos, creo que hay suficiente información en inglés como para hacerlo en este idioma. Además las personas a las que deseo dirigirme tal vez ni siquiera hablan o leen Inglés y es a quienes más me interesaría transmitirles mi mensaje.

Lo siento porque estoy conociendo a muchas personas aquí en Estados Unidos que me encantaría darles la facilidad de poder leer mi blog en Inglés, pero bueno qué le haré. De cualquier forma agregaré un botón para facilitar la traducción de mi página por lo menos.

I wanted to posted this a long time ago. Sometimes, I don’t know how to pronounce certain names in the fashion world so here is a video which is going to be very helpful to say in a proper way the main names in the Fashion Industry.

By the way, Don’t see this like “something that you have to learn” just think how bad you feel when somebody doesn’t pronounce your name properly.
