I don’t want resolutions for this 2015 so I was looking for other options, new areas of inspiration; for example, to make a collage with all my resolutions for this year (I found this idea in one of the most famous Mexican girl youtube channel, here the link), however, I remember myself past years doing collages or drawing (that is one of the most powerful tools to keep something in my mind) and It didn’t work at all so I procrastinated again. Then I thought that it wasn’t my fault, I needed only another way to have my resolutions on my mind, something more simple.
I was waiting and looking for that new idea. In the meantime, I decided to write down a mind map with all the roles that I have in my life and what do I want in each one, and here it is.

I loved the title of this meeting that I found today in my inbox. I haven’t had an idea as that before: meeting people at that age. I am 29 and you never image to be 60 and being single, something that can happen and It’s amazing. I love that somebody had that opening to create a group as that here in New York (there should be more like this around the world) and feel free to be single at that age. I support completely this meetings and I would like to go to know how different is that phase from the 30’s. Personally, I think “Age” is only a number and we shouldn’t be worry about it. We’re gonna be or we’re singles in different stages of our lives so the best is to embrace it a enjoy it.

I bring you a new subject, about love. My first passion is Fashion but I always look for improvement in different areas, that’s why, I felt happy to found a radio show where they talk about the languages of love where they synthesize and explain how to understand better not only yourself but your couple. The problem is that the program is in Spanish BUT the amazing thing is that it’s based in an English book called “The 5 languages of Love” so if you are really interested in improving your relationship, I highly recommend to read this book (the cover is up).

¿Quién no quiere ahorrar dinero de vez en cuando?
¿Dónde cortarse el cabello en New York?
El costo de un corte de cabello en New York empieza desde $50 dls para arriba dependiendo de los servicios que necesites como color, lavado, secado y demás, esto en una estética normal y lo cual varía por áreas pues en Manhattan posiblemente encontrarás costos a veces más elevados que en New Jersey o Queens.
Teniendo eso presente quise ahorrar unos centavos y hace unos meses me corté el cabello en una barbería. Aquí en New York hay muchas barberías a diferencia de la Ciudad de México que es donde me crié y los hombres se suelen cortar el cabello o arreglar la barba en estos lugares y el costo va desde los $14 dls hasta los $25 dls y a veces no depende de la zona.
Un día que acompañaba a mi novio a cortarse el cabello y ya hacía meses que no me lo cortaba yo. Así que ese día viendo el bajo precio, me animé a hablar con el barbero y me indicó que si sólo quería un despunte con gusto el lo haría. Así que me decidí y lo hice.
